Dr.  Steve Timm

Dr. Timm operates his own mobile business, Veterinary Support Services.  He travels to our clinic as well as others in the area to perform complex surgical procedures, including orthopedic repairs.  He also offers consultations with our veterinarians on difficult cases.  Dr. Timm can provide advice and recommendations which greatly benefit your pet.   His expertise, experience, and approach are all highly valued by the clinic staff and veterinarians.  We enjoy working closely together with him, and look forward to his visits.  The clinic is pleased to have the ability to offer your pets expert care locally, without the need for out of town referrals.

Dr. Timm graduated from the University of Minnesota's College of Veterinary Medicine in 1986.  Since then, he has had extensive experience in small animal emergency and critical care, including surgery, ultrasonography, echocardiology, fluoroscopy, and endoscopy.  Dr. Timm has the expertise and equipment to perform most orthopedic repairs (with bone plating, external fixators, pins, wires, and casting) as well as other complicated soft tissue procedures.  As a member of the Wildlife Disease Association, he is also involved in wildlife conservation.  His interests include free ranging wildlife disease investigation, wildlife capture, and endangered species recovery and propagation.  He lives in Vernon County on 40 acres that is his own living laboratory.
