Susan Van Metre
Hello! I am Susan Van Metre and I am the newest certified vet tech on the Tender Care team. I joined the staff in the autumn of 2007. I am a 1975 graduate of St. Petersburg College in Florida. My career has been split between small animal hospitals and zoo medicine. I was on staff at Busch Gardens (Tampa) and Walt Disney World. My special interest is any kind of lab work, and I enjoy educating clients about their pets' needs. My husband Joe and I are building a house in the woods just north of Effigy Mounds to share with our 2 big dogs, Snickers and 'Tater, and 2 cats, Stripes and Hopper. I look forward to meeting you and your pets!
